Terms & conditions

All buffets will be served on china plates with stainless steel cutlery as appropriate

If disposable tableware is required instead there can be a additional charge over & above the normal rates

The price quoted includes food, crockery & cutlery table coverings delivery set up clearing down & disposal of unserved foodstuffs

Prices shown are based on a minimum of 40 covers (except shooting parties ) if numbers are expected to be less than this then prices will be adjusted accordingly

50% of total will be payable on conformation of order
final 50% can be paid any time up to the completion of the event

There will be interest payable at the rate of 4 percent above base rate compounded charged monthly on any unpaid accounts from the date of the event

A 50 % deposit will be required with the order

Mileage Charges

Tresal Catering is based in North Walsham, North Norfolk UK. Please calculate all mileage costs using this town as your starting position.

Up to 20 miles - no extra charge.*
over 20 to 49 miles - 50p per mile.*
over 50 miles - £1.00 per mile per vehicle.*

*These figures are for a minimum of forty people

Cancellation fees

More than 30 days full refund except 10% handling fee

14 to 30 days 50 % of menu costs will be payable + any sub contracted costs ( marquee furnituer lights disco hire ect)

7 to 14 days 75% of menu costs will be payable + any sub contracted costs ( marquee furniture lights disco hire ect)

0 to 7 days 100% of menu costs will be payable + any sub contracted costs ( marquee furniture lights disco hire ect)

For short notice work

A non refundable deposit of 50% will be payable with the order

Payment for breakages & losses during the event will be invoiced separately
All breakages & losses will be charged at full (MRSP) replacement cost

All our catering is compiled from locally sourced produce & made by us wherever possible

All our products are made in premises where nuts are used

All foodstuffs leftover after the event will be disposed of by us no liability will be excepted by us for these items left with the customer

Tresal catering will be responsible for the removal of all perishable items napkins ect this does not include the removal of wine ,beer bottles /cans unless purchased through tresal catering

Access to the venue has to be at least 2 hour prior to the event to allow for set up

Vehicular access to area of event and parking close to the kitchen area for the duration of the event

Any event that is further than 20 miles from base will have an additional charge for excess mileage

A site visit will be required approximately 14 days prior to the event ( excluding shooting party's & funerals )

Tresal catering Accepts no responsibility for any injury or illness caused by non disclosure of allergy's or special dietary needs prior to the event

Due to hygiene policy &insurance liability restrictions we are unable to take any responsibility for or serve any food items not prepared or served by ourselves.

Tresal catering will not be liable for delayed or in completed contracts due to mechanical breakdown of vehicles or equipment road traffic accidents adverse traffic conditions adverse weather conditions
war & petulance or act of god

If for any unseen reason we are unable to complete the contract we reserve the right to sub contract the event to a trusted third party

Any claims against tresal catering will not exceed the total cost of the event.
